Vertical Ventures' Youth Team focuses on building confidence and skill through strength and achievement. Rock climbing is not only physical, but mental as well. Coaching will emphasize the fundamentals of climbing and fitness - balance, movement, communication, nutrition, strength training and mental focus - all in a relaxed and fun environment. how it works
The youth team is open to male and female climbers ages 8 through 13 wishing to build or improve their rock climbing abilities. The team meets twice a week for 2 hours during the team season. We encourage and recommend team athletes to climb more than that if possible. All team athletes receive full member benefits during the season (10% off gear, 1 free guest pass/month, unlimited climbing). If a team athlete does not have their own equipment, VV will provide it on training days free of charge, but it must be rented on non training days. Having your own climbing shoes is HIGHLY recommended - these are the most basic and critical piece of climbing equipment.

There are two rate structures for the Youth Team - Member Price and Non-Member Price. The non-member price entitles a Team Athlete to all of the benefits of a Vertical Ventures membership for the duaration of the Team season (10% off gear, 1 free guest pass/month, unlimited climbing).
